I am a former teacher currently living in Wisconsin with my husband. Originally from the Chicagoland area, I continue to cheer on the Cubs, Bears, and Hawks and love to visit my family there.
I have a passion for financial peace and for finding the best possible means to accomplish what I need to as efficiently as possible so I can spend my time enjoying the things in life that really matter. I believe if we have our finances under control and can use our time most efficiently, we have a lot more freedom to do the things we love, such as have coffee with friends and family, binge watch a TV show, or take long walks by a lake.
Most of what I have learned about finances is from Dave Ramsey and his Financial Peace University class. However, I do incorporate many of my own ideas I have found useful. I don’t necessarily believe we have to be frugal; I believe we have to be careful to use the resources we have been entrusted with wisely.
When it comes to being productive, I used to be a rather unorganized person and have been able to teach myself and learn from others how to be more efficient with my time.
I love to share my experiences of what has helped me in these areas and I am praying they will help you as well!
