Weekly Newsletter: Do It Right Away

7/16/2018

Hello friends!

Welcome to my new weekly newsletter format where I share with you 5 tips that I hope will help simplify your life and lessen overwhelm!

If you have your own tip that you would like me to share, please email me at anytime and it could be used (*please note there is no guarantee it will be shared*).

Tip #1
I got an email this morning from Suzi of Start A Mom Blog where she said that she and her husband are testing out a new productivity hack:

“We both went to bed right after we put the kids down, at 8:45PM.

We woke up at 4:00 AM.

Worked from 4:00 AM to 5:40 AM (John leaves to go to work) and I continue to work until the kids wake up around 7:00 AM.

This gives me a solid 3 hours of work time before the day starts.

We may shift this to 3:30AM to give John more time – and then the Whitford household will all be asleep by 8:00 PM.”

This reminds me of something I wrote about a while back…

Tip #2
Find the time of day when you are at your best and use it to get as much done as possible. You can read more about it here: The Life-Changing Tip That Made Me Super Productive And Improve My Time-Management.

Tip #3
I love these ideas from Frugal Fanatic about how to teach your kids to save money.

Tip #4
To get more done, you must do it right away!

Tip #5
In order to eat more vegetables, have them already cut up so they are ready to go whenever you want a snack. Use clear containers so you see them often and so they are in plain sight when you open up the fridge. Here is a delicious homemade dill vegetable dip from Rachel Cooks that I often have on hand. It’s easy to make and so good!

Have a great week!

Amy
