Pantry Staples

This post was updated April 2020.

Have you ever found a recipe that you wanted to make right away but you were missing one or two necessary ingredients? Who wants to go to the store for just one ingredient?

There are certain items I like to keep in my pantry that are very common staples in many recipes. This way, when I spontaneously come across a recipe I want to make, I often already have the ingredients on hand!

Of course there are many recipes that you’ll find that contain different ingredients other than what is just on this list.

And, obviously, this list assumes you have certain meats and other ingredients on hand depending on what recipe you want to make.

But if you keep these 50 in your pantry (or at least a good amount of what is on this list) you will be well on your way to making many recipes that you randomly come across without having to run out to the store!

Plus, you’ll save money because you won’t be as tempted to run out to the nearest fast food restaurant all because you don’t feel like going to the store šŸ™‚

This particular list comes from my own pantry as well as friends, family, and other readers of this blog that offered up the items they are sure to always keep in their pantry. If you are one of those that contributed, thank you!
