Sometimes it can be difficult to think of what gift to get someone, especially when you’re on a budget. Let me help you by sharing 15 items for the home that my husband and I love! (One of these items we actually gave as a gift to my in-laws, but we are close enough to them to know how well it works.) The most expensive item on this list is around $70, but most of the prices are much lower than that. So if you are on a tight budget, don’t let that scare you away! There are many options on here. We are on a budget as well and believe all of this was money well spent 🙂
We just bought this diffuser based on a co-worker’s recommendation. I was a little nervous at first because of the low price, but what can I say other than so far it has been great! It looks nice and is very easy to use. What a great gift for a home!
This is the most expensive item on this list and could be out of reach for some budgets. We bought this coffee pot on a whim due to a Black Friday sale. We needed a new one soon anyway so it worked out great. I love that it has both a carafe and a spot for a single cup (you can use ground coffee or a K-cup for the single cup). We usually set the timer at night and have a carafe full of coffee when we wake up in the morning. If we have a morning where there isn’t much coffee left as one or both of us is heading out the door, we can easily just make a single cup. There is also the option of choosing regular or bold flavor. My only complaint is that the interface isn’t the most user-friendly. But after the initial set up it is really no big deal at all. We love this coffee pot and highly recommend it!
I love these sheets! They are soft and comfortable and the material is a really nice for such a low price. They come in all sorts of colors. I plan to stock up on more soon!
I love to meal plan and think it is so important to do in order to save money and stay organized and productive. I like to use an Excel spreadsheet, but my husband doesn’t always get to see that. So we have this chalkboard style dry erase board stuck to our fridge. He is able to see what is planned for the week and either one of us can add groceries to the list when we run out. The only downside is that we use chalkboard markers on this and have noticed that not every color shows up well, but that could just be the particular markers we’re using. This could be a great gift for a newlywed or new mom!
We gave this digital photo frame to my in-laws last year for Christmas and loved finding it at this price. (Even though we don’t own it, we are close enough with them to know how well it works.) The picture looks great and it’s easy to set up. It needs a USB drive or SD card, something some more expensive options would likely not require, but that doesn’t make it anymore difficult to use. What a great gift for a family!
This kit comes with a lot of different parts to make a drink. It is fun to use and makes you feel like you’re a bartender mixing drinks! The items are also easy to clean. My husband loves this set! Perhaps you know an aspiring or amateur bartender that would enjoy something like this.
I use this as a towel rack but of course it can also be used as wine rack. It’s perfect for anyone you know that doesn’t have a lot of storage or loves wine. Mine is from my mother-in-law but here is a similar one on Amazon.
Without cable I realized I was missing out on watching sports and shows that aren’t on Hulu or Netflix. So my husband purchased this antenna and it has worked great! The picture comes in clear and it lays flat on our TV stand so you can barely even see it. Is there anyone you know that doesn’t have cable and might be missing some of their favorite local channels and would love a gift like this?
My husband loves this kit. It comes with everything he needs and is so easy to use and store. Perfect for dads!
Sleep is so important so what better way to show someone you care than to give them something to help them sleep better? It fits well for us and is comfortable. This can be a great stocking stuffer!
My husband got me this for Christmas last year and I can confirm it is just as comfy as it looks! It is very warm and fluffy and the perfect thing to throw on on a cold, snowy day.
In sticking with the bath theme, this bath pillow is such a nice alternative to leaning back against a hard, cold tub. It is very soft, warm and easy to use. Give this to someone who needs to find a few minutes in a day to relax!
Sometimes relaxing in a bath with a glass of wine is the perfect way to wind down at the end of the day. I love using this wine glass holder as a place to put my glass. When I first started using it I was afraid it would fall off the side with my glass in it but it never has! This can also be a great stocking stuffer.
For anyone that loves to take baths, giving them everything they need in one kit is the way to go. I love the scents in this set. They’re very soothing and relaxing.
This tray is another great place to put your glass of wine or whatever else you might be drinking and also has a book prop (with a mirror on the other side) and a soap holder. It has extensions so it can fit on most tubs. (Of course I caution putting any electronics on it.)
Bonus gift idea!
This one isn’t necessarily a gift for the home (or maybe it is depending on who you’re giving it to), but if you’re looking for a gag gift for White Elephant or Secret Santa, this is perfect! I bought this for a White Elephant exchange with co-workers last year and it got “stolen” several times! (If you don’t know what that means, when it’s your turn to go during a White Elephant, you can usually choose to open a gift or “steal” a gift from someone that has already opened one.)
If you have any questions about any of these items before making a purchase, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Merry Christmas everyone!
